The Nudibranch


On a rock                                                                                                                                                    
13 metres                                                                                                                                                             
below the sea’s surface                                                                                                                                     
the soft slug-like nudibranch slithers                                                                                                                
slowly                                                                                                                                                               
with almost imperceptible movement                                                                                                          
except for the fluting of its flat-skirted body
